Layer Tissue Paper And Cut Out 15 Pieces At A Time.
Starting at the short end, accordion fold 1 inch sections of the tissue paper until the whole length of the tissue paper is folded together. The shorter side of the tissue paper should be facing you as pictured. Trim each edge to create the “flower petals.”.
Fold All The Way To The End Of The Tissue Paper.
Cut down the accordion folded strip by half or a little more so that it's the shortest of the three colors. Measure and outline tissue paper into 2 1/2″ x 3″ strips. Make sure to press down and crease each fold as you go.
Carefully Start To Separate The Layers Of The Flower.
Next, cut slits along each side. I cut three pieces of each of the blue petals, and 4 or 5 of the yellow petals. Accordion fold all the tissue paper together.
